Privacy Policy

callbackresume collects the data needed to operate the product, deliver the tailored resume you paid for, and support your account. We do not sell personal data.

Data We Collect

• Account data: email address, purchase and credit history, and admin notes.
• Payment data: handled entirely by our payment processor. We receive the email you paid with, the amount, and a payment reference so we can grant your resume — we never receive or store your card number.
• Profile data: resume uploads, parsed work history, education, skills, certifications, projects, and profile edits.
• Job-search data: job descriptions, job URLs, match reports, status notes, generated resumes, cover letters, recruiter emails, and exports.
• Operational data: sign-in events, email delivery events, rate-limit metadata, server logs, and error diagnostics.

How We Use Data

We use your data to create your career knowledge base, analyze job postings, generate editable drafts, export documents, send account emails, protect the service, and respond to support requests.

We do not use resume text, job descriptions, or generated outputs for ad targeting.

Service Providers

callbackresume works with a small number of service providers to run the product. They fall into these categories: cloud hosting and security, authentication and database storage, AI text processing, email delivery, and payment processing.

Each provider only receives the data needed to perform its function, is bound by contract to process it on our instructions, and may not use it for its own purposes. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

Data Deletion

Sign in and use the Wipe All My Data button on your Career Knowledge Base page to permanently delete stored profile records, job postings, analyses, generated outputs, and related account files. The action cannot be undone.

Retention

Account data persists while your account is active unless you delete it. Email event logs may be retained for up to 365 days. We also keep content-free usage audit records that show service events, counts, success or error status, payment references, and hashed email identifiers. These records do not store resume text, job descriptions, prompts, or generated documents.

Access Revocation

As an invite-only tool, the administrator can revoke access at any time. A revoked account cannot sign in, even if an older magic link is still in the inbox.
